EU CE CERTIFICATION
On September 15, 2020, it was announced that the Air QUEEN Nano Mask has received European CE certification as an FFP2 under the EN 149: 2001 + AI: 2009 standard. The European CE certification means that it meets all of the requirements of the European Union (EU) Council Directives on safety, health, environment and consumer protection. An FFP2 respirator is considered equivalent to a NIOSH approved N95 respirator.

"Toptec announced on the 15th that its subsidiary, Lemon's Air Queen Mask, has officially received European CE certification (approval number: 2163-PPE-1433).
Toptec explained that the acquisition of CE certification is not a temporary certification by applying a special law to cope with the current Corona 19 situation, but a formal certification that has passed all tests for CE certification. A Toptec official said, "Currently, authentication through RfT (Recommendation for Use) PPE-R version 1 and official authentication are mixed, so it is difficult to distinguish clearly," he said. "It is considered the industry's first formal authentication."
The European CE certification means that all the requirements of the European Union Council Directive are met and must be obtained in order to sell consumer safety related products in the European market.
With the addition of this European CE certification, Toptec is able to further enhance product reliability secured through the existing US FDA registration and Halal certification, and has laid a foothold for expanding overseas exports of nanomembrane filters."
REUSABLE
The Air QUEEN Nano Mask filter is waterproof and can be reused up to ten times and still maintain the same level of filtration efficiency.
On June 12, 2020, it was confirmed by a publication in the ACS Applied Nano Materials Journal that a nanofiber mask can be reused up to ten times by spraying the mask three or more times or soaking the mask in 75% ethanol. The nanofiber masks and nanofiber filters in this study were provided by Lemon, the same filter manufacturer of the Air QUEEN Nano Mask.
A co-presider of the study stated that "this research is an experimental verification of the biological safety of nanofiber masks and the maintenance of filtration efficiency after washing."
Toptec’s nanofiber mask is similar to a nanofiber membrane mask developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), which maintains excellent filter efficiency even after being hand washed twenty times.
